The world’s largest trade fair, the Canton Fair, officially opened on October 15th. Due to the vast range of industries it covers, the exhibition is held in three phases:

• Phase 1 (October 15-19): Consumer Electronics and Information Products, Household Electrical Appliances, Automotive Parts, Lighting Equipment, Electronic and Electrical Products, Hardware, and Tools.
• Phase 2 (October 23-27): Daily-use Ceramics, Household Items, Kitchen & Tableware, Home Decorations, Festival Products, Gifts and Premiums, Art Ceramics, Glass Artware, Clocks, Watches & Optical Instruments, Gardening Products, Weaving, Rattan and Iron Arts, Building and Decorative Materials, Sanitary and Bathroom Equipment, and Furniture.
• Phase 3 (October 31 – November 4): Home Textiles, Carpets & Tapestries, Men’s and Women’s Clothing, Underwear, Sports and Casual Wear, Furs, Leather, Downs & Related Products, Fashion Accessories and Fittings, Textile Raw Materials & Fabrics, Shoes, Cases and Bags, Food, Sports, Travel and Recreation Products, Medicines and Health Products, Medical Devices, Pet Products, Bathroom Products, Personal Care Products, Office Supplies, Toys, Kids’ Wear, and Maternity, Baby and Children Products.
